Generally, when your face is dry, it simply means that, as you might have guessed, you have dry skin.

Its roots came from two American brothers, Sidney and Albert Musher, who started everything by simply doing research. They did research on the benefits of oats. For those that didn’t know, Oat has been used since ancient times, mainly as a skin-soothing agent. It is also known to have some healing properties
During their research, they stumbled upon some information on the power of finely-milled colloidal oatmeal.
And after the renowned Mayo clinic scientist acknowledged the pioneering work of the Musher brothers, the Aveeno brand was born.
It was from that point in 1945, that Aveeno started growing in popularity around the globe. Fast forward to years later (in present times), they are still one of the leading producers of skincare products. Their years of being in the skincare business are what have created a solid foundation of respect, which Aveeno solely deserves.
Eucerin
While Aveeno started about 75 years ago, Eucerin, on the other hand, dates back to as far as an entire century- now that’s impressive.
In the year 1882, Eucerin was established by a man named Paul C. Beiersdorf, who was also the founder of a company called Beiersdorf (named after himself). This is the company behind the birth of Eucerin and it is one of the leading skincare companies for more than a century. According to our history, the idea of Eucerin came in a pharmacy in Hamburg. It was in this pharmacy that Paul C Beiersdorf wrote the patent for Eucerin, a company that has never ceased to give us great skincare products to this day.
Each product is scientifically relevant and proven for tolerability. They provide solutions for different skin issues and problems, like eczema, dry skin.
The brand’s name, Eucerin, comes from an emulsifying agent, Eucerit, found by young chemist Isaac Lifschutz. Eucerit, meaning “the beautiful wax” from old Greek, formed the basis of all Biersdorf products.
